Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about holding, sending and spending money with AXA Pay.
Getting started
How do I open an account?
Sign up with your email, verify your identity, and add money from your card. The whole thing takes about five minutes — no branch visit, no paperwork.
Is AXA Pay free to join?
Yes. Opening and holding an AXA Pay account is completely free. You only ever see a fee — clearly, upfront — on certain top-ups or withdrawals.
Do I need a bank account?
No. You can top up and withdraw using a debit or credit card, so you can use AXA Pay whether or not you bank locally.
Payments & fees
How fast are transfers?
Payments between AXA Pay members are instant — the money is there the moment you hit send. Top-ups and withdrawals to your card usually clear within minutes.
How much does it cost?
Sending money to another member is free. Any top-up or withdrawal fee is shown before you confirm, so what you see is what you pay.
Who can I send money to?
Anyone with an AXA Pay account. Search their email, enter an amount, and send. If they're not on AXA Pay yet, invite them — it's free to join.
What currency does AXA Pay use?
AXA Pay runs in East Caribbean Dollars (XCD), the currency of Anguilla, so there's no confusing conversion when you pay someone local.
Security & support
Is my money safe?
Yes. We use bank-level 256-bit encryption, multi-factor authentication, and real-time monitoring to protect your account and every transaction.
What if I lose my phone?
Your account is protected by multi-factor authentication, so no one can get in without your verification. Sign in from another device to review activity or contact support to lock things down.
